First and Foremost - My Criteria for Decisions as a County Commissioner

I’m starting this BLOG on my webpage supporting my run for Benton County Commissioner. Below are three criteria that I believe should be the foundation of any decisions I would make as a Commissioner:

- My first duty as a Commissioner is to make decisions based on what is best for Benton County and its residents.

- If a majority of voters feel strongly about some issue which I believe is not in the best interest of Benton County, I will do my best to have an open discussion on its merits before taking any action to the contrary. My vote as a Commissioner would then respect the will of the majority -- unless there are serious and obvious adverse consequences.

- I am always willing to change my position based on new or better information.
